The Pavonis Difference
Why this matters — and why Pavonis
The quality of legal guidance you receive at the start of any significant matter shapes what follows. Understanding the advantages of working with Pavonis is part of making an informed choice.

What working with Pavonis offers
Document-First Methodology
Every engagement begins with document review. No advice is offered until the documents in question have been properly examined. This approach prevents the common problem of advice that misses a material detail.
Explained in Plain Terms
Legal documents are written for legal purposes, not for easy comprehension. Pavonis translates what they say into language that allows clients to make informed decisions, not guesses.
Defined Engagement Scope
Clients know what is covered and what is not, from the beginning. The scope, timeline, and fee are agreed in writing before any work begins. No charges are added without prior agreement.
International Client Focus
A significant portion of Pavonis clients are foreign nationals or internationally-owned businesses. Engagements are structured with that context in mind, including coordination with overseas counsel where needed.
Confidentiality as Default
Client matters are handled privately and remain so. All staff are subject to formal confidentiality obligations. Nothing shared in consultation is disclosed without explicit, written consent.
Focused Practice Area Depth
Pavonis operates in three areas only. This focus means the firm's knowledge within these disciplines is current, deep, and directly applicable — rather than spread thinly across many practice types.
01 · Expertise
Professional expertise with jurisdictional depth
Thai law is a distinct legal system. Property title categories, corporate ownership restrictions, and succession formalities each carry specific requirements that do not map directly onto legal frameworks in other countries. The lawyers at Pavonis have spent their careers working within this system, not translating from another one.
For foreign nationals and internationally-based businesses, this depth is particularly valuable. It means advice that accounts for how Thai law actually operates — including how government offices and registration authorities function in practice — not just what the statutes say.
02 · Process
A process that follows the documents
Many legal matters go wrong not because of bad intentions but because documents were not reviewed carefully before commitments were made. Pavonis builds its process around the documents at hand — reviewing them, identifying what they say and what they leave open, and explaining the legal position clearly before any next step is agreed.
This is not a complicated approach. It is a disciplined one. The time spent at the review stage protects the client at every subsequent stage.
03 · Communication
Clarity over legal language
Pavonis operates in English, and all client-facing explanations are given in plain language. Where Thai documents require explanation, the key points are translated and explained — not summarised in a way that omits what matters.
Clients receive written summaries of their legal position at each stage. Questions are welcomed. The engagement moves at a pace that allows for proper understanding, not one driven by administrative speed.
04 · Value
Transparent, fixed-fee pricing
Pavonis operates on a fixed-fee basis for each practice area. Property services begin at ฿14,000. Corporate governance packages begin at ฿35,500. Family succession planning begins at ฿48,000. These fees are agreed in writing before work begins.
There are no additional charges introduced mid-engagement without client agreement. If scope changes materially, the fee implication is discussed and agreed before additional work proceeds. Clients are not presented with unexpected invoices.
05 · Results
Measured by client position, not activity
The purpose of any legal engagement at Pavonis is to improve the client's position — whether that means a property purchase with properly verified title, a corporate structure that is genuinely compliant, or a succession plan that will function as intended when it needs to.
This orientation shapes how the firm works. Activity is not the measure. The quality of the outcome for the client is.

Distinctive Features
What sets this firm apart
Written scope before work begins
The engagement letter confirms scope, timeline, and fee in writing before any chargeable work is undertaken. Clients are not asked to commit to something undefined.
Senior involvement throughout
At Pavonis, senior practitioners remain directly involved from the first consultation through to completion. Client matters are not passed to junior staff after the initial meeting.
Dual-language document review
Where Thai-language documents are involved, the review covers both the Thai original and any English translation. Discrepancies between versions — which do occur — are identified and addressed.
Cross-border coordination
Where a matter requires input from counsel in another jurisdiction, Pavonis coordinates with appropriate overseas contacts. The Thai legal position is presented in context, not in isolation.
